2018 SIEO Conference

53rd ANNUAL SIEO / NACE INTERMOUNTAIN WINTER SYMPOSIUM

JANUARY 3 - 5, 2018

We would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to you and/or a representative of your organization to participate in the 53rd Annual SIEO/NACE Winter Symposium. The symposium is jointly sponsored by the Southern Idaho/Eastern Oregon Corrosion Committee, Inc. (SIEO) and the National Association of Corrosion Engineers / Intermountain Section– a Corrosion Society (NACE). The Winter Symposium was established as a forum for information and training for those involved, engaged or interested in corrosion control in the Intermountain Region. The atmosphere is very relaxed and casual dress is preferred.

At this year’s symposium Sun Valley will be offering light breakfast for $25.00. If you wish to join us please indicate it on the registration sheet. The other options for breakfast are Gretchen’s and the Konditorei on property (both open at 7).

We will be providing lunch for attendees and guests at the Sun Valley Inn Thursday.

There are three options for Thursday dinner:

Trail Creek Cabin
. Join us for an old-fashioned horse drawn sleigh ride.
We are offering two dinners, with the early dinner sleighs leaving at 5:30pm for 6:00pm dinner or the 6:30pm sleigh ride for the 7:00pm dinner.
Please indicate on registration form early or late dinner at Trail Creek and if you will be taking the sleigh ride.

Sun Valley Clubhouse / Nordic Center
Join us for a magnificent prime rib and salmon buffet with a splendid view of the valley. The meal last year was a wonderful setting. You will need to provide your own transportation or take the shuttle although some brave souls walked it last year.
  (6:00 pm Social Hour – Dinner at 7:00pm- 9:00pm)

Spouses and friends are welcome to join us for lunch and the dinners for the same fee as attendees.

Please get your registration in promptly to guarantee your selection.

Registration is $145.00 per person if postmarked by December 15—there will be a $20 late fee for registrations postmarked after that date. The cost for children 8 and under is $85.00.
